I’ve always found it awkward to write about myself. The only good part is you can share just the good stuff about yourself and leave out the bad stuff like I’m losing my hair and I can’t eat pretzels anymore. I’ll leave it at that.
I’m a father of five children and married to Amanda.
Together we founded Mommy High Five as a place where Mom’s, and Dad’s who either stay at home or work from home like me, can write and offer advice. Yes, our five kids do have something to do with the name.
So, how did I end up working from home? After getting a degree in business management and working for a financial firm for five years, I started writing online. As soon as I could make a living of it I quit my day job to be in front of all you people! A much better crowd, that’s for sure.
Before Mommy High Five I wrote for various online tech sites and developed a YouTube following. While I continue to do that, I’m just as passionate about kids and parenting.
Here on Mommy High Five, I’ll be covering anything from games and toys to parenthood topics.
More About Me:
You want to know more? Ok, here goes. I’d rather go without wearing pants as much of the time as possible. No, I don’t mean without wearing anything altogether, I’d just prefer a pair of cargo or gym shorts. Fashionable, I know.
For hobbies, I love watching college football, traveling, and watching reality TV.
In the past, I’ve been in show choirs, acapella groups, and you name it. I even tried my hand on American Idol at one point and made it on TV, although only for a half a second, literally.
I also spent two years of my life as a missionary in Brazil and thus speak fluent Portuguese. I came back with a love of all things Brazilian (except for those tiny bathing suits).
